I’m currently out of town for work, but when I get back I want to sign up for a gym membership. I stay in the East Rand, so I’d prefer something around the Bedfordview area. I’m mainly looking at Virgin Active (In East Gate Centre or Bedfordview) and Planet Fitness in the mall.
I’d like a gym where there’s a bit of social activity in the showers or steam room, while still being respectful and discreet. As a professional, privacy and discretion are very important to me, so I’d really appreciate recommendations from people who understand that.
Which of these gyms would you say is better for a social/cruising atmosphere in the showers or steam room and hook up with other professionals?
